Creativity Workshop: Encouraging your Creativity Through Writing, Storytelling & Emily Dickinson

 Participants will be using creativity in several ways: writing, telling and listening. Storytelling will come forth from short sparks, which draw forth a memory. We will write from prompts generated by Jay and since we are writing on the spot in an impromptu fashion. Jay will tell a few brief scenes of Emily Dickinson's life, we'll read a few of her poems and be inspired by the way she uses words, rhythms and brushstrokes, i.e. startling phrases such as "a nervous star" or a "flying attitude".
